Neuro Systems International established as an Architectural practise in Australia in 2001 Neurosys (State of Mind Architecture) has conceived several urban development projects in China consisting of:

  • Urban Master planning in Regional and City Centres

  • Eco - tourist Resorts

  • Residential and Commercial Towers

  • Condominiums and Apartments

  • Hotels and Convention Centres

  • Low cost innovative modular housing solutions for rapid deployment to remote locations

Methodology:

In collaboration with Specialist Engineering Consultants, Neurosys explores the innovation of environmental design principles:

  • Siting and Orientation response

  • Passive and Active Solar and Ventilation Systems

  • Radical applications of materials and processes

  • Water Conservation Technology

  • Greater efficiency in energy capture and redistribution

  • Vertical Circulation and Safety systems in Multi-Storey buildings

Design Principles:

1. It is entirely appropriate for the co-existence of opposites within the formal composition which characterise urban fabric built over time.

2. A key to achieving conceptual unity is to identify visual hierarchy contained with given spatial field, whereby the context inspires the form and so provides the opportunity and intuitive possibilities not predetermined, allowing for authentic and contrasting forms. The built form becomes a unique spatial experience, more like nature than architecture because it is conceived in response to the topographic and climatic. One has to expect something that is part of an ecosystem or at least an approximation of one. One has to be willing to suspend disbelief like when we first observed artificial light.

3. In this way, the Architecture which is yielded can more faithfully engage with the ecology and the historical continuity of the urban landscape and introduce balance to the dialogue of contradiction between the built and natural environment.
